Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog ~Challenge #11~

Welcome Sweet Friends,  This is Challenge #11 - Tag, You're It"

The challenge this time is to use a tag on your project.  Create a handmade gift tag.  Create a tag mini album.  Add tags to your scrapbook layout or your card.  You may use some hoarded tag-shaped packaging or you may cut tags from scrap paper using a die cut template.  Tags of all sizes!  As long as your project contains some kind of tag, you will meet the requirements to play along.

Here's my Design Team project for the challnge.  I created a vintage post card tag which I altered with some Vintage Photo Ink and the Specturm Noir pen and I love how it turned out.  This is a photo of my youngest grandsons Ethan and Elias.  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek and I can't wait to see everyone's creations with tags!!

  2. I love the look of old leather...and I love the wonderful cluster of vintage goodies on the side. The sweet little stamped sentiments, the vintage photo corners, the perfect touch of twine...this is just fabulous. I am such a huge fan of your gorgeous, thoughtful creations!

  11. Karen, your tag is one of my favorites this challenge. I seldom use a "vintage patina" on my projects, but your tag is magnificent! (If I could make paper look that good, it would be all over my creations.) What did you use the pen on...darkening the corners? This really looks like it's one hundred years old. I can't begin to sort out whats original to the piece, and what you've added. I'm Pinning this because the embellishment is one of the best "male" ones I've ever seen. All this beauty, and still your two grandsons are the stars of the show. Thanks so much for choosing to share.

  12. Hi Marcie, Thanks so much! I started with a white postcard that I altered with some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink. After that dryed I used the TN2 pen and ran that over the entire card to give it a lighter color and I love how it turned out
