Lip Gloss ~~Scraps of Darkness~~ Reveal Day

Hello Everyone,  So it's reveal day for the Design Team at Scraps of Darkness and this is my DT project using the beautiful sketch by Suepup.  The name of this kit is "Day Glo and is just GORGEOUS with all the Prima Sunrise Sunset Collection from Finnabar, lovin it!!  I used the Prima Zipper flower along with some other Prima flower from the kit and the stick pin from Mandy goes just perfect with this kit!!  For the framing around the small photos I used Tim Holtz Film Strip Die Cut. and cut it up for the photos.  I also used some Tim Holtz stamps along with my "France" stamp from Inkido.  The chipboard piece from the kit is from Gina's Design for Scraps of Darkness.

This is a cute photo of my hairdresser's little miss during a photo shot.  She's putting on some lip gloss, so cute!!

For my second project I again used the beautiful Prima "Sunrise Sunset" papers from the March "Day Glo".  For this layout I used some Tim Holtz die cuts and the beautiful frame chipboard from Gina's Designs from the kit.  These are some photos of the girls on the beach on our trip to Maui a couple of weeks ago, we had such a great trip!!  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, I hope you enjoy!!

Imaginarium Designs March Projects

Aloha from Hawaii,  I'm on Maui laying in the sun and enjoying some much needed relaxation with my daughter Jenn!!  Today I have two DT projects to share with you for Imaginarium Designs.  Thanks so much for taking a peek and I hope you enjoy!!

LOVE, ADORE, CHERISH

For this project I used the beautiful Prima Rondelle collection.  To alter the chipboard I first gessoed the pieces.  I then painted them with Folk Art Pure Black paint.  After that dried I used a "fan" brush with Folk Art "Parchment White" to add some some character to the pieces.  I used the butterfly collection along with the "Love, Adore, and Cherish" smalls from Imaginarium Designs.

COUNTRY BALLERINA

For this project I used the beautiful papers from Prima's new Engraver Collection along with the Kaisercraft "Marigold" collection from my February kit from Scraps of Darkness.  To alter the Imaginarum Designs chipboard pieces I first gessoed the pieces.  After that I painted them with some Folk Art "Wicker White" paint and then used a crackle medium (which didn't work so well).  After that I used some Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Walnut Stain" and "Rusty Hinge" to the edges.

Thanks again for taking a peek and I hope you enjoy, see you when I get back from Hawaii (paradise)!!
