Craft Hoarders Anonymous ~Challenge #20~

Hi Sweet Friends,  Welcome to Challenge 20 "Box It Up" with Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog!  For Challenge 20 your challenge is to crate some sort of altered box.  You can create a box from scratch, or you can alter a pre-made box.  Your box can be made of paper, wood, chipboard, plastic, or metal.  As long as you dig into your hoard to decorate a box, you have met the challenge requirements!  The box does not have to be used as a box...it can be used as home-decor or for any purpose you can imagine.  Let's box it up!!

Our sponsor for this month and for this challenge is the amazing Heather Hudson.

And one lucky winner will receive this awesome prize from Heather

Our Design Team Sponsor for this challenge is Eileen Hull

And here's my Design Team project for this challenge.  I used one of the cute boxes from our Design Team sponsor Eileen Hull of Eileen Hull Artist Trading Blocks.  I went into my Christmas paper stash and found some of my faves that I've been hoarding.  I made the wreath with my Tim Holtz Die Cut and used some little tags from one of my favorite hoards..Graphic 45 and love the look!

"Lucy" ~Scraps Of Darkness~

Hi Everyone,  Today I'm sharing another DT project using the October Kit "Bon Appetit" for Scraps Of Darkness.   For this layout I used some of the beautiful Authentique papers from the kit.  I also used a mold and epoxy mix to make a small frame from an old kit.  The chipboard is from Imaginarium Designs.  This is an image of "Lucy" from the movie Dracula.  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek and I hope you enjoy and are inspired to grab a kit and create some awesome Fall or Halloween memories for your family!

The Pumpkin Patch ~Scraps Of Darkness~

Hi Everyone, Today I'm sharing another DT project for Scraps Of Darkness using the October Kit "Bon Appetit".  For this project I used the Authentique "Spirts" papers from the kit.  This a some photos of my niece's little guy Carter at the pumpkin patch.  I've had a migrane for a few days now and didn't even notice that the photo on the left was supposed to be in the middle but I'm still really happy with the outcome.  For the chipboard "haunted house" I sprayed it with the Dylusions Red spray from the kit and then painted over that with the Tim Holtz Distress Paint also from the kit..came out with a beautiful crackle effect.  This layout is my take on Sketchabilities 101.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek and I hope you enjoy and are inspired to grab a kit and create some Fall and Halloween memories for your family!
