Another Day In The Park ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

Hello My Sweet Friends,  Here's another DT project using the fun and colorful July Kit "Gypsy Summer" from Scraps of Darkness.  For this layout I used the G45 "Bohemian Bazaar" paper collection along with some papers from My Mind's Eye's "Collectable" collection.  I also used some of my Tim Holtz stamps using black ink for some contrast with all the color.

This is some photos of my nephew and niece with her hubby and little guy at a Reagea Festival in the park one Sunday.  This is a sketch I found on Pinterest from Page Maps and loved using!!

Thanks for taking a peek and we hope you will love this carefree and fun collection as much as we have loved creating with it!!

Redneck Fishin ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

Hello Again My Friends,  Here's another DT project for Scraps of Darkness's July kit "Gypsy Summer".  For this layout I again used the G45 "Bohemian Bazaar" and My Mind's Eye "Collectables"  paper lines.

This is a photo of my niece Savoie, my little BoHo sweetie.  I saw this photo of her "redneck fishin" as she said with that outfit and just had to laugh to myself and scrap this one for sure.  She would make my Grandfather proud, lol.  For this layout I made a large tag and stamped it with some new stamps and also used the small tag from the kit and did the same.  I used some old G45 flowers along with some old black cardboard flowers from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, we hope you will love this carefree and fun collection as much as we loved creating with it!!

I'll be back with some more projects after the 2nd of August.  I'm leaving Friday to get married to my sweetie in Lake Tahoe, see you all then!!!

Bohemian Child ~~Scraps Of Darkness~~

Hi My Friends,  Today I'm sharing a DT layout using the Scraps of Darkness July Kit "Gypsy Summer".  This is a fun kit full of bright and fun Graphic 45 "Bohemian Bazaar Paper Collection" along with some great coordinating papers from My Mind's Eye's "Collectable" Paper Collection.

This is a layout using some photos of my niece Savoie at one of their favorite swimming holes up in Idaho, I loved the photos and couldn't wait to use them!!  I used the G45 Bohemian Bazaar Paper collection along with some papers from the "Collectable" paper collection from My Mind's Eye.  The small tag pocket is from G45 and has three journaling cards in it for her to use.  I also used some Tim Holtz stamps and distress inks.  I'll have some more projects done in the few days before I leave for Lake Tahoe where we're getting married on a yacht on July 30th, so excited!!!!

Thanks for taking a peek and we hope you will love this carefree and fun collection as much as we loved creating with it!!!

Imaginarium Designs Reveal Day

Hi Everyone,  Today I'm sharing a couple of DT projects for Imaginarium Designs!!  For the first project I used the beautiful Oval Frames and the "You Inspire Me" chipboard.  To alter the chipboard I used some white gesso as a base and then embossed the Oval Frames with some Tim Holtz "Seafom White" and "Tattered Rose" Embossing Powders.  The papers I used are Prima's beautiful "Almanac" collection.  This is a photo of my sweet daughter Jenn.  I did a lot of layering and used some Tim Holtz Die Cuts on this project also.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!

For my second DT project I thought I'd try something different this time.  I haven't done any canvas work in a long time and had a some one lying around so I thought I'd have some fun with it.  I think I got this image off of pinterest, but I'm not sure.  To alter the Imaginarium Designs chipboard I used some of the new Ranger Patinas and LOVE them.  They're for metal but they work really good on chipboard too.  The Patina colors that I used were "Verdigris", "Moss", "Victorian Gold", and "Aged Bronze"..which I also used on the metal pieces.  To add some texture to the key I used some embossing powder and then added the colors,  so fun!!  The canvas was covered with Tim Holtz's Tissue Paper "Terminology".  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, I hope you enjoy!!

I had a lot of fun with these two projects and am already creating with some more of the new Imaginarium Designs chipboard!!!  Don't forget to go to http://imaginariumdesigns.blogspot.com and leave a comment to have a change to win some awesome chipboard.  Thanks for taking a peek and I hope you enjoy!!
