Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog ~Glamour Shots Of Hoard And Tips~

Welcome Sweet Friends,  This is challenge #11 for Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog.

The challenge is to share your hoard and some storage tips with a glamour shot.  Today I'm sharing some shots of my little studio and some tips for storing my hoard of supplies.  I love old funky antiques and have used some in my studio.  For all my alcohol inks and paints I've used an old printer's tray I've had for some time.

On my desk (which is an antique French Country Kitchen Table) I have a 5-tray antique bread baking pan set that is attached and I just love using it for all my "special" small flowers.

I also love hand thrown ceramics.  Here on the Lost Coast we have many talented artisians and I picked up some from our Summer Arts Festival this spring that I am using for all my brushes etc.

Behind my desk I have a shelve of old redwood with some shabby chic brackets.  I've used some old cd shelves for some of my tapes, metal pieces, and mists.

And here's a glamour shot of my studio.

One lucy winner will receive this amazing prize donated by Gloria!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to see your hoard and storage tips!!

  1. Thanks Karen for sharing your space. Love the pretty things you treasure and use for your working environment. The colors of your inks and paints are lovely in the old printers drawers. Just so fun to peep about others spaces. Enjoy

  2. It is always so nice to be able to take a look into your world! I told Kathy this morning that I felt likeI had been over for a visit in person. I love your space and think it is such a neat area. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Your storage is lovely! I really want to just come over and TOUCH it all! It is wonderful, just like you!!!!

  4. What a beautiful area to work in!! Gorgeous!

  5. Your space is so charming - love the use of all the speciality containers and bins! Using a printer's drawer to hold ink and such is just so cool! I love the shot of your desk with all the baskets of supplies close to your feet. I used to work off a card table and the space around my feet would get all cluttered with supplies because there was no room for them on top of the table. Seeing your photo makes me wish I would have thought of baskets for holding those supplies. Anyway, thanks for sharing your space - it's amazing!

  6. Love your glamour shots and your beautiful crafty space. It looks like a wonderful place for inspiration and crafting!

  7. Love your beautiful space, Karen! Like you, I love those antique pieces! They add so much character! I actually have the same printer's tray, and I'm going to get Dale to hang it for me (somewhere!) so that I can put my alcohol inks, etc in it. What a brilliant idea! Why didn't I think of that!

  8. Such pretty things in your crafty space! I love that you repurpose old things for storage. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me with more ideas.
