Romance In Paris ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

Good Morning,  This is some DT using my beautiful new February Kit, Victoriana  featuring Prima's Printery Collection,  A very fun and beautiful kit!!!  This is a photo of my niece.  I'd been looking at photos of Paris on Pinterest and this one just seemed to go with Amber's pretty photo, so romantic.  The Imaginarium Chipboard were gessoed in white and then embossed with Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powders (Seafoam White and Tattered Rose).  I also used a couple of pieces from a previous kit.  The metal pieces from the kit are from vintaj.  This is my take on the beautiful sketch this month by SuePup.  Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoy!!

Sisters ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

Hi Everyone,  This is some DT work revealing our beautiful new February kit here at Scraps of Darkness featuring Prima's gorgeous Printery Collection.  I loved working with this kit and the colors of the Printery Collection.  This is a photo of 2 of my niece's Savoie and Marcie.  The flowers were made with my Vagabond using the Decorative Strip Paper Rosette.  For the tag I ran it through a Tim Holtz Texture Fade and inked.  Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy!!!

Vintage Steampunk ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

HI Everyone,  This is some DT work for our wonderful February Kit featuring Prima's beautiful Printery Collection.  I had to get my steampunk on so I decided to do a canvas piece.  I tore some paper up and made a sort of collage out of this one.  I also used the Prima brick wall mask to ink the background.  I used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Vintage Photo and  Scattered StrawStraw).  I also used some of his Distress Stains (Brushed Corturoy, Wild Honey, and Antique Linen ).  I used a great steampunk chippie piece and gearsfrom Imaginarium Designs!  I altered the chippie with some Vintage Photo and then sprayed them with some Glimmer Mist.  The Placettes and light bulbs are from Tim Holtz, and the Rose Buds are from I Am Roses.  The watch pieces are from my antique watch parts collection.   Thanks so much for dropping by and I hope you enjoy!!

The Girls ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

Hi Everyone, This is some more DT work using the beautiful February Kit here at Scraps of Darkness.  It's full of the gorgeous Prima Printery Collection, so fun!!  This is a photo of my friend's daughters.  I kept  this one pretty simple.  I did a lot of layering and then stamping with some Tim Holtz Masks.  The small clips are also from Tim Holtz and will holds some small journaling paper.  The white flowers are from Prima and the small brown/black flowers are from I Am Roses.  Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoy!!!

Savoie & Madi ~~Scraps of Elegance~~ with Imaginarium Designs

Hi Girlies,  This is some more DT work using the beautiful NEW Vintage Shabby Chic kit from our new sister kit club Scraps of Elegance!!  This kit was a gas to work with, I'm falling in love with the Shabby Chic style for sure!!  This is a photo of my niece Savoie with her niece Madison.  I did some more stitching (still need some practice with that), along with some distressing and inking.  The "You And Me", dressform, and small birdcage chipboard are all from Imaginarium Designs where I'm now on the Design Team and so excited to be sharing they're beautiful items with you!!  For the dressform I used white gesso and stamped it with a script stamp and inked the edges in the same.  The mini hangers are from a previous kit.  For the "You and Me" ID chipboard I gesso it and while still wet I misted with some Glimmer Mist (Charlkboard) Cotton Candy and Mint Chocolate.  After that dried I adhered some glitter flakes.  After that I used a black copic pen to outline the chippy.  I did a lot of layering and inking and the beautiful lace I used is from Green Tara and is so beautiful irl!!  Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy, and I hope to see you all at the blog hop, lots of prizes to win!!

Imaginarium Designs Chipboard Close Ups For Madi and Savoie

Here's a couple of close-ups of the Imaginarium Design Chippies I've used on this layout.  For the mini birdcage (IDT 0014) I altered it with some gesso and then sprinkled some glitter dust to let dry.  For the dress form (IDT S0007) I gessoed first, then stamped with a script stamp inked with Tim Holtz's Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  For the Phrase (IDP0023) I used some white gesso and while still wet used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists Chalkboard (Cotton Candy and Mint Chocolate) and then sprinkled with some glitter.  I then outlined it with a black copic marker.

Simple Things Matter Most ~~Scraps of Elegance!! with Imaginarium Designs

Hi Everyone,  Here's another layout using the 1st "Scraps of Elegance", the new sister club kit of  Scraps of Darkness.  This is a layout using the Melissa Frances, 5th Avenue Collection included in the kit.  I used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, and Weathered Wood).  I also did a scallop stitch around the border using my We Make Memories sewing kit.  I also used the rest of my Prima tiles for this one, love those tiles!!  There is a close-up below of the Imaginarium Designs chipboard that I'm showcasing as my 1st month on the Design Team for ID!!   I altered the chippy with white gesso.  While it was still wet I sprayed it with some Glimmer Mists (Chalkboard) "Cotton Candy" and "Mint Chocolate".  After that dried I adhered some glitter flakes to it and then used a black copic pin to age it!!  I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for your sweet comments!!  Hope to see you all on the blog hop!!!
