Scraps of Darkness's Pandora's Box Tutorial ~Dylusions Creative Journal~

Good Morning, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving we sure did…great time with family and friends this year!  Now that the house is empty and I've had a good nap I was able to go downstairs and create!

Today I have a project using the Creativity Add-On from the November Kit at Scraps of Darkness.  This is my first attempt at an art journal and I found so much inspiration on youtube, beautiful work out there.  I used lots of mists, inks, and stamps for this and loved it!!  I can't wait to full this journal up.

The Dylusion's Creative Journal pages are made for just this purpose and they absorb and dry very quickly which makes it a pleasure to work with.  So here's my first page in the journal, I hope you enjoy.  I have a tutorial on how I created this page on youtube which I will link at the bottom of this post.  Again, thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoy!

Here's some project that I have to share with you today using the gorgeous November Kit "Karma".

The first layout is my take on the November Sketch from our very own Charlotte (Suepup).  For this project I used the gorgeous and colorful Bo Bunny Serenade Collection.  I just love how the pretty Bo Buuny Blossoms Red (Wildberry Collection) and the Prima (Romance Novel) blackflowers in this kit match the papers just perfectly!  These are some photos of me and my dd Jenn with my sweet Grandsons Ethan, Zach, and Elias at Zach's last soccer game, such a fun day to remember.

For my second project I also used the gorgeous Bo Bunny Serenade Collection.  I did a lot of layering to mat the photo.  I used a great sketch from Page Maps 35, Sketch #3 from Gentlewoods Farms which I added my own little touch to.  This is a photo of my sweet Grandson Zach picking apples with my in our orchard.  I can't believe that I didn't use one drop of ink on any of these projects, now that's a first for me, lol!

For my next project I used some of the amazing Graphic 45 "Birdsong" Collection of papers from the kit.  I also used my teammate Elena's shabby edges method, with lots of layers.  I also added some of the beautiful metal pieces from Graphic 45 that I so love along with a metal feather trinket that I had to match the rub-on feather on the tag!

And for my last project I again used the Bo Bunny "Serenade" Collection.  I used some of the beautiful florals that Mel included in the kit this month, so Bo Bunny Blossoms and Prima Poppies and Peonies.  I also added some of the Bo Bunny Trinkets in with the floral spray and also the beautiful stick pin made by our ever-talented Mandy (Craftysprinkles).  I started out with a sketch of Nadia's at Once Upon A Sketch, but tweaked it a bit for this layout.   I also used the Kaisercraft Rub-Ons, the Secret Bird Society Collection along with a stencil that I had for the top and bottom corners to add a touch of black to the yellow background.

Well, that's it for reveal day, I hope you enjoyed the projects I had to share with you today and stay tuned as this month is my turn for "Pandora's Box" where I'll show step by step video of how I create a layout.

Hope you've had fun with our reveal day blog hop, and don't forget to check back on November 19th to see if you've won!

G45 Mini Album ~~Imaginarium Designs~~

Good Morning,  Here's my 2nd project for November, it's a Melissa Frances mini album that I used some Graphic 45 "Olde Curiosity Shoppe" papers and some of the beautiful Imaginarium Designs chipboard corners that I altered with some rub n buff  "Autumn Gold" and then applied some Adirondack Alcohol Inks, Stream and State.  I then used some Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Soot Black to dab around the corners.  IRL they look a lot like the metal G45 brads with the patina finish.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!

Here's some examples of the pages, chipboard, and inserts.

My Little Angel

Good Morning My Friends,   I have two DT projects to share with you today for Imaginarium Designs.  The first one is a layout using the Face Less/No Hands Clock.  To alter the chipboard I first gessoed the pieces and then applied some Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Antique Linen) along with some Vintage Photo.  This is a photo of my Grandson Zach riding his horse.  Thanks so much for dropping by and I hope you enjoy!!
