I Love You, God Forgive Me, I Do ~~Scraps Of Darkness~~

Hi Again My Friends, This is another project using the amazing September "My Guy" Kit from Scraps of Darkness.  I did a reverse canvas using a photo from one of my favorite movies, Bram Stoker's Dracula.  I used one of my team matesRenea's, awesome tutorial for broken glass for the photo.  I used layers of extra thick clear embossing powder and let that dry and then you "crack" it.  Renea's tutorial is on the forum at Scraps of Darkness if you want to give it a try.  For the framing I used some foil tape that I painted with some "Folk Art" Terra Cotta paint.  After that dried I painted the surface with some Tattered Angels Glam (Mermaid) and let that dry too.  After that I painted it with some "Folk Art" Black and rubbed the excess off.  I used a tool to crease the foil around the chipboard pieces under the foil and added some Liquid Leaf "Florentine" paint with my fingers randomly over the whole frame.  For the chipboard from the kit I painted them with white gesso and then applied some texture paste and added the above-mentioned colors.  The little frames are a Martha Stewart mold that I used the Easy Cast Epoxy Kit that came with the Creativity Add-On kit this month, so fun!!

The clock face in the Tim Holtz pocket watch was distressed with the same colors.  The flowers are from a previous Scraps of Darkness kit along with some small I Am Roses buds.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!

Good Evening My Friends, I'm sharing a project that I did today with the new September "My Guy" Kit from Scraps of Darkness.  It's an amazing kit for me because I love me some SteamPunk and these papers are just perfect for that!!!

This is an image I found on SteamPunk devientArt website revisited by "gannonsphantom.  Perfect for this kit!!!

I also used the new "Technique Add-On Kit" that Melinda has started.  This month's technique was Epoxy and it was so fun to use with the gear mold included with it!!

I used the papers from the Prima "Craftsman's Collection" along with a piece from the Kaisercraft "Sears and Sons" Collection for this layout.  Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!

Something For the Girls and Boys Imaginarium Designs

Happy Friday My Friends,  Today I'll be sharing a couple of DT projects that I did for Imaginarium Designs.  The first one is a grungy boys layout that I did using "The Boys" #IDP0019, Tines Oval Frames #IDT0002, and the new Cross Hatch #IDDL0001.  To alter theses pieces I first painted them with white gesso and then embossed with 1) Shimmerz "Molten Metal", 2) Adirondack "Expresso", and 3) Stampa Rosa Copper in random areas.  I used the Bo Bunny "Et Cetera" Paper Collection.  This is a photo I've used before of my niece and her little sweetie, Madison.   I thank you for stopping by and don't forget to go to Imaginarium Designs Blog and leave a comment to WIN A CHIPBOARD PRIZE!!

The second project is a layout using the large birdcage #ID0009 along with one of the tinies birdcage #IDT0019.  To alter the pieces I first painted them with some white gesso and then painted them with some Tim Holtz Distress Stain and then topped them off with some pink and lime green stickles.  I used the Bo Bunny "Little Miss" paper collection.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!
