Craft Hoarders Anonymous ~~Challenge #13~~

Welcome Sweet Friends, This is Challenge #13 for Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog ~~Let's Cycle..Up Cycle That Is~~

Being frugal and going green is what it's all about.  Show us how you can up-cycle something using "junk" from your hoard.  Most crafters also hoard boxes, tins, packaging, and bits of this and that.  Our mantra is "I can MAKE something with that!"  Now is your chance!  Up-cycle!

Our sponsers this month are Altered Pages and Canvas Corp.  This challenge is sponsored by Canvas Corp

One lucky winner will receive this prize donated by Gloria full of awesome Canvas Corp. goodies!

Here's my DT project for this challenge.  My re-cycling item was a Graphic 45 packaging from their brads.  I have been hoarding them forever and it was fun to use one!!  I used the fun 6 x 6 canvas and mini canvas from our sponsor Canvas Corp.  I also used some of the gorgeous papers from Canvas Corp..Black and Kraft along with some of the tags.  I used a vintage dress pattern that I altered with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze and mists for behind the recycled G45 packaging.

  2. I can so relate to your piece of ART... I love labels.. and the other day I gift a student with a bag of goodies... (all things that needed to be up-cycled) and she is having so very much fun with it all... what she doesnt' use, goes onto the next person... a fun way to share and use things... but I didn't give her any of my labels... they are SPECIAL... and she asked why I didn't give her any... as she loves my labels on things.. .LOL... I LOVE your piece... and using a label.. oh that might happen... but they are special in my hoard... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

  7. I love everything about this, from the photo to the colors to the tags. But my fav is the tiny canvas! Love that part! I have a bin of those G45 tag packaging bits! I saved everyone from my DT days and I have gobs. I love that they have actual tags now, but I still love to use the packaging ones. hee hee
