Grandsons And School Days ~~Imaginarium Designs~~

Good Morning My Friends,  Today I have 2 DT projects that I made for Imaginarium Designs!!

The first project is a layout of 2 of my Grandsons, Ethan and Elias from this summer.   This is a photo of them after a day of shooting bb guns, riding bikes, and swimming.  They're sitting on my deck enjoying some popsicles!  For this project I used the "Gransons" phrase along with the new and fantastic buttons from Imaginarium Designs.

To alter the pieces I first painted them with some Tim Holtz "Walnut Stain", I then used some Folk Art "Burnt Umber" paint with a fanned paint brush.  After that had dried I painted them with some Tim Holtz "Copper" and wiped away the excess.  I then used some Liquid Pearls "Ocean Blue" around the edges, and I love how they turned out!!

And for my second DT project for Imaginarium Designs is a Mini Book.  I really enjoyed creating this little book.  I also made a book cover for the ID Mini Book.  Here's a couple photos of the book cover along with the ribbons and charms that I included along the spine of the book.

Here's is a photo of the cover page of the Imaginarium Designs Mini Book.

The next two pages include and flip up page for journaling or photos.  I've used a small metal ruler piece and a small globe for charms that I found at Michael's and distressed with some alcohol inks.

For the next 2 pages I made a pocket to include 3 tags for photos and journaling.  And on the facing page I made a "Mini Album within the Mini Book", it was so fun.  You only need one piece of 12 x 12 cardstock.  I will have  tutorial in the next couple of days posted on my blog if you would like to learn how to make one.  The Imaginarium Inches would be perfect for this size booklet too!!

And here is a photo of the tags that go into the mini album

The next two pages consist of pockets with lots of tags and journaling tags along with a ruler that I distressed and used some crackle paint to finish.

Here's a photo of the tags that are in the pockets as shown above.

For the next page I created a envelope pocket to hold a tiny tag, and on the facing page I used some of the cute cardstock to finish off the book.

Here's a photo of the tiny tag (sorry for the bad photo).

And here are the last pages that I used the beautiful graphic 45 cardstock images for.

Thanks so much for letting me share with you today and I hope you will enjoy,

I should have the tutorial for the "Mini Album within the Mini Book" in the next day or two!!

Don't forget to drop by Imaginarium Designs Blogspot and leave a comment for a change to win some awesome chipboard!!

I had some scraps left over from this project and decided to make a "wallet" photo album also.  Here's some photos of it.  I'll also have a tutorial for this in a couple of days!
