I Love You, God Forgive Me, I Do ~~Scraps Of Darkness~~

Hi Again My Friends, This is another project using the amazing September "My Guy" Kit from Scraps of Darkness.  I did a reverse canvas using a photo from one of my favorite movies, Bram Stoker's Dracula.  I used one of my team matesRenea's, awesome tutorial for broken glass for the photo.  I used layers of extra thick clear embossing powder and let that dry and then you "crack" it.  Renea's tutorial is on the forum at Scraps of Darkness if you want to give it a try.  For the framing I used some foil tape that I painted with some "Folk Art" Terra Cotta paint.  After that dried I painted the surface with some Tattered Angels Glam (Mermaid) and let that dry too.  After that I painted it with some "Folk Art" Black and rubbed the excess off.  I used a tool to crease the foil around the chipboard pieces under the foil and added some Liquid Leaf "Florentine" paint with my fingers randomly over the whole frame.  For the chipboard from the kit I painted them with white gesso and then applied some texture paste and added the above-mentioned colors.  The little frames are a Martha Stewart mold that I used the Easy Cast Epoxy Kit that came with the Creativity Add-On kit this month, so fun!!

The clock face in the Tim Holtz pocket watch was distressed with the same colors.  The flowers are from a previous Scraps of Darkness kit along with some small I Am Roses buds.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!
