Steampunk Travel ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

This is some more Design Team work for Scraps of Darkness using our September kit "Passages".  This has been such a fun kit!!!  For this project I started with a white reverse canvas and misted it in areas with the Smooch Spritz (Holly Berry , which is just awesome and Wood Stain).  After letting that dry I did some more misting using Tattered Angles (Cinnamon and Candy Apple Red) along with some Cattail Copper Brown from Lindy's Stamp Gang.  After that step dried I used some Distress Crackle Paint (Antiqued Bronze) which also is just awesome!!!  The flowers were all some white flowers I had in my stash and misted with some of the above-mentioned mists.  I also used some Tim Holtz chipboard that I used the Antiqued Bronze and Clear Rock Candy Distress Paint which went perfect with the cluster of flowers.  For the white bg paper behind the photo I got to use my new Stampers Anonymous "Bitty Grunge" stamps from Tim Holtz, LOVE THEM!!!!  I also inked the papers with the Donna  Salazar's Mixed Media Inks (Leather and Black).  I had one little mini canvas left that I put a butterfly from the kit on and added some mini gears to give it a Steampunk feel.  The image is by Ignatius 0815 at DeviantART.
