Jenn and the Boys ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

This is a layout of my daughter Jenn and her boys at the Summer Arts Festival this last weekend.  We had a lot of fun with the boys getting their faces painted and playing around the river!  For this layout I used the cool new BoBunny Zoology Collection from our June kit at Scraps of Darkness.  It's such a fun kit for children layouts!!  For this layout I layered a couple of bg papers and inked them with Tim Holtz (Crushed Olive).  I then took a round piece of cardboard (from my pizza) and distressed it.  Then I applied some Gesso and sprayed  some Glimmer Mist (Pumpkin) and some Crushed Olive and Rusty Hinge ink.  I also added a little Ranger Archival Black ink with a paint brush.  For the Dusty Attic Skelton Clock Face I Gessoed the entire chipboard and then used some Perfect Pearls "Heirloom Gold" to spray randomly. For the thick chipboard leaves I first inked it with Tim Holtz (Crushed Olive).  I then stamped them with a script stamp using Tim Holtz's Distress Embossing Ink and  Ranger Archival Black and then sprayed them with some Goosebumps Texture Spray.  I also inked and sprayed the KaiserCraft Alphas in the same way.  I also used the beautiful stick pin that Mandy aka CraftySprinkles made for this mont's kit.  This was a fun one to do, using some new techniques!!  Hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping by!!!
