Here's a couple of close-ups of Zara for you.  I just loved the Pink Paislee papers and embellies for this one, beautiful collection!!

Here's a couple of photos of what I did to the reverse canvas.  I fist painted in with Americana Premium Acrylic Paint (Butter) that you can get at Michale's.  I then used some Moon Shadow "Mystic Malachite" and sprayed some randomly on the frame.  I also applied some of  Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) to distress the corners alittle.    I also added some Crackle Accents from Ranger at the very end.  I then took the chipboard gears that I got from  and inked with some ColorBox Moss Green & then stamped in gold with a small flourish stamp that I had.  The moss in the corners I adhered with some spray adhesive.  I had some small springs that I also  inked with the same Moss Green.  The bolts that are near the photo are from Michael's and come in a package from Industrial Chic.  The barbed wire chippies are from Dusty Attic.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!

Backstage close-ups & details

Here's a few close-ups and details of my "Backstage" lo.  I first backed the bg paper on some cardboard and then used my new Tim Holtz Mini Stapler which I highly recommend, very groovy tool!!!  The circular cardboard I misted with some Tattered Angels (Tiger Lily & Pearl) and then painted lightly with some Americana Acrylic Paint (Butter) that you can get at Michael's and some Craft Smart Acrylic Paint (Apple Tart) and smeared with a cloth to meld together.  I then added some ColorBox "Peony" to add some pink in with the paints.  I had a small envelope which  I masked with Tim Holtz's small mask with the above-mentioned Peony ink and some archival Sepia around the edges.  I then layered all the papers and added the Prima Decorative Border (Flowered Tendrils Grape) on the side.  The metal flowers are from Prima & Graphic 45.  Love using metal!!!  Hope you enjoy and try painting cardboard sometime, it's too fun!!

I Don't Want To Be Bad

This is a layout I did for a challenge at Scraps of Darkness.  The challenge was to post a lo of the darkest or weirdest page you have or can do.  I have found a couple of artists that are just amazing with their photo altering and layering and this is one of them she is Kathi Townzen @ Creative Souls.  The papers I found at JoAnn's Fabrics and can't wait to use on some Steampunk!!  Tfl, and hope you enjoy the darkness!!!!

Zara ~~Graphic 45~~

This is a lo of my niece Zara, she's so pretty!!   This was a fun lo for me since I usually am doing guy lo/s so much.  I used Graphic 45 "Once Upon A Springtime" Collection.  It's got beautiful papers & colors in it!!  I used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on the Gates from Dusty Attic & on the branch.  I did some water distressing on the paper and inked with some Tim Holtz "Aged Mahogany" and "Peeled Paint".  I also used a vine of bling with the prettiest glass leaves on it  that I got at Michael's in the Bridal section.  I appreciate all the hugs!!  Thanks for stopping by.

No Peekin

This is another lo using my December Swirlydoos Kit.  The ornament piece on the bottom was just black so I added some "Candy Cane" Stickles to make it more festive looking.  I also took apart the flower arrangement in the kit and used the berries along the borders, I love how this one came out.  I also did some photoshop work on the photo to add the red snow flakes!!  Tfl!!

Here's some close-ups of the ornament piece at the bottome and the berries from the kit.  Tfl!!
