Easter Sunday ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

This is another project I did using the beautiful April Kit "Sakurabana" for Scraps of Darkness.  This is a beautiful kit full of ruby reds, soft blues, and beautiful creams.  This is a photo of my 2 grandsons Ethan and Elias on Easter Sunday.  I made a banner out of some of my scraps from the kit and the rosettes were made with my Tim Holtz Vagabond.  Thanks for taking a peek and I hope you enjoy!!

My Little Man ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

Good Morning,  This is another Design Team project that I did using the April Kit "Sakurabana" for Scraps of Darkness.  The papers I used are from the new Bo Bunny "Serenity" Collection along with some FabScraps Classic Collection.  The ruby reds and subtle blues and creamy whites are really beautiful and so fun to work with.  I did a lot of fussy cutting and inking.  The chipboard is from our awesome collection here at Imaganarium Designs.  I painted them with some Folk Art Linen paint to match the soft creams in the papers.

This is my take on our beautiful SuePup's sketch for April and is a photo of my daughter Jenn with her oldest Ethan this Easter Sunday.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!

Our Family ~~Scraps of Darkness~~

Good Morning,  This is another project using the beautiful April kit "Sakurabana" for Scraps of Darkness.  This is a new sketch that I used by Beggahuna.  The chipboard is from our beautiful collection at Imaginarium Designs.  I first painted them with some Folk Art "Linen" paint and then used some Tim Holtz "Seafoam" Distress Embossing Powder after the paint had dried.  This is a photo of my dd Jenn and her family on the Mendocino coast.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!

Beautiful ~~Scraps of Elegance~~

Good Morning,  This is some more DT work using the incredible April Kit "Awakening" here at Scraps of Elegance.  This is the most beautiful kit featuring the new Glitz "Pretty In Pink" Collection with the prettiest pinks and browns!!!

This is another photo of my dear friend Hana on one of her photo shoots.  I did a lot of distressing with my IB distressing tool and lots of layering, of course, lol.  The birdcage is from Imaganarium Deisgns and I altered it using some Folk Art "Wicker White" paint and added in some beautiful rose buds from I Am Roses along with a little baby's breath!!

Awakening ~~Scraps of Elegance~~

Scraps of Elegance "Awakening" Reveal Day

Introducing our beautiful kit for April entitled "Awakening".

This kit is just gorgeous and full of brand new goodies that Mel has put together for you.  It's a combo of the beautiful shabby chic "Pretty In Pink" from Glitz and the vintage beauty of chocolate browns from the Moxxie "Spring Has Sprung" Collection, along with Pink Paislee's "Spring Jubilee".  It's really an incredible kit!!

Because Melinda wanted to bring all the best and new products to us straight from Winter CHA, the design team received their kits just moments before today's reveal.  We wanted to keep on track with our kit reveal for April and will be bring you our designs with it this week as we complete them.

Scraps of Darkness Design Team Call

Scraps of Darkness and Scraps of Elegance kit clubs are looking for designers to add to our talented design teams!!!  Commitment is important, so we want to be straight forward with what we're looking for.  We want to see ambitious, outgoing, computer savvy scrappers who share the same love as we do.

These positions will start with our May 2012 kits and will end with our October 2012 kits.

This call is open to both US and International.  Please note that international members will share in the cost of shipping their kits to them.  Below is a link to the site.
