Here's a few close-ups and details of my "Backstage" lo. I first backed the bg paper on some cardboard and then used my new Tim Holtz Mini Stapler which I highly recommend, very groovy tool!!! The circular cardboard I misted with some Tattered Angels (Tiger Lily & Pearl) and then painted lightly with some Americana Acrylic Paint (Butter) that you can get at Michael's and some Craft Smart Acrylic Paint (Apple Tart) and smeared with a cloth to meld together. I then added some ColorBox "Peony" to add some pink in with the paints. I had a small envelope which I masked with Tim Holtz's small mask with the above-mentioned Peony ink and some archival Sepia around the edges. I then layered all the papers and added the Prima Decorative Border (Flowered Tendrils Grape) on the side. The metal flowers are from Prima & Graphic 45. Love using metal!!! Hope you enjoy and try painting cardboard sometime, it's too fun!!

I Don't Want To Be Bad
This is a layout I did for a challenge at Scraps of Darkness. The challenge was to post a lo of the darkest or weirdest page you have or can do. I have found a couple of artists that are just amazing with their photo altering and layering and this is one of them she is Kathi Townzen @ Creative Souls. The papers I found at JoAnn's Fabrics and can't wait to use on some Steampunk!! Tfl, and hope you enjoy the darkness!!!!
