Hi Sweet Friends, Today I'm sharing another Design Team project using April's beautiful kit "Laura's Wish" for Scraps Of Darkness.  For this project I used the Authentique "Durable" papers from the kit.  This is a few fotos of my niece's little guy with his buddie.  I used a sketch from Sketch de Maska on Lespagesdenadia.over-blog.com for this layout.  The chipboard is from Blue Fern Studios which I altered with some Lumiere "Metallic Rust" from the kit along with lots of goodies from Prima.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!  I'm off to another grandson's little league game...hope you're all having a fun weekend too! xo

~Expecting~ Scraps Of Darkness

Good Morning Sweet Friends, Today I'm sharing a Design Team Project using the gorgeous April Kit "Laura's Wish Kit" for Scraps Of Darkness.  I just love the colors and papers Melinda has put together for this kit!!  For this project I did a layout of my friend's niece and her hubby who are expecting a little one this summer.  I used a combination of the Authentique "Durable" and Kaisercraft "Antique Bazaar" paper collections from the kit.  I used one of my Spellbinders "Card Creator" dies for matting the photo.  I then used the TW "Mini Screen" stencil from the kit to stencil here and there on the layout with some Studio 490 Embossing Paste (Metallic Gold) to accent the gold centers in the beautiful Prima Flowers.  I also cut some foliage using my Cottage Cutz "Leafy Foliage" die cut to add to the flower cluster.  This is my interpretation of Sketch 119 from Sketchabilities.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy and grab one of these kits to create some beautiful memories for your family!

"From LeipZig With Love" ~Scraps Of Darkness~

Hi Sweet Friends, Today I'm sharing another DT project for Scraps Of Darkness using the amazing March Kit "Michelle's Mechanical Madness".  For this layout I used an image that I just love by Niveau0 of Deviantart.Com with her permission which I altered using a Tim Holtz background and some stamping from a photo editor.

For this project I used the beautiful Prima "The Archivist" paper collection from the kit.  I also used the TCW "Radar Remnant" stencil along with the Prima "Lace" stencil from the kit and applied some  Tim Holtz Vintage Photo.  I used alot of the Mica Tiles from the kit to give the layout a vintage and aged look.  I cut and inked the edges with the Vintage Photo ink and placed them randomly around the center of the layout.  I also did some fussy cutting of items from "The Archivist" 3x4 Note Cards from the kit along with the Prima Metal Trinket & Alphas using the S for Steampunk.  To alter the metal and Blue Fern Studio Gears I first painted them with some Lumiere (Metallic Rust) and then applied both with Tim Holtz's Alcohol Inks...Slate and Aged Bronze.  I used some washi tape randomly and stamped with a wire style stamp.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!!

Hi Everyone, This evening I'm sharing another Design Team project for Scraps Of Darkness using the beautiful December kit "Northern Lights".  For this layout I used the beautiful Bo Bunny papers along with the Moxxie papers from the kit.  I randomly sprinkled some of the Fran's Encrusted jewels (A Spoonful Of Sugar) around the page that sparkle and looks just like snow on the page!  I used one of the Blue Fern chipboard pieces from the kit for the title which I sprayed with the Lindy's Stamp Gang "Jassy Purple"  mist from the color add-on kit.  This is a photo of my Grandson Ethan last year when we took a ride on the "Polar Express" train to pick up Santa in the woods outside of town, they had so much fun!
